We had such great intentions of taking a clever photo of the Wellington wine bottle in a huge snowdrift and sending it off with a thank you and greeting and.......basically we haven't managed to put batteries in the camera. Winter in Minnesota can bring on great lethargy.
Anyway, it's spring, the snow has melted and after thinking of sending you a thank you e-mail about a thousand times I'm finally getting around to it! Thank you, thank you, thank you for facilitating our transport and housing in Tasmania. We had a great time and hope to get back there for a whole winter before our traveling days have ended.

Dear Andy,
I want you to know how much we appreciate the wonderful break you made possible for David and myself. Tassie in Autumn is spectacular! Not only was it beautiful, but the weather was supreme - warm, blue skies, gorgeous skies! Abundant, fresh, quality food along the way, native birds and animals were prolific, and everywhere we were welcomed warmly by the locals.
But the magic ingredient was your campervan which you had prepared so well, equipped with everything we needed. All we needed to do was to pack our clothing and GO! And go we did! It was so luxurious to be in the countryside, sometimes miles from anyone else, beside the ocean or the river, and still have all the facilities and comforts of home.

We just wanted to drop you a short note to say thanks for help in making our holiday great. We had never rented a campervan before and were a bit nervous as to how we would manage. Your simple and clear instructions allowed us to feel at home in the van and feel comfortable in our travels. Tassie must be the best kept secret ever. Thanks again for all your advice-we got to try some great wines and fabulous meals. We thought we might have been a bit old for this type of holiday, but sitting back looking out over pristine beaches with a Cascade in one hand wasn't hard to take.
