Tasmania Campervan Rentals knows Tasmania very well. Just ask, preferably by email, and we would love to suggest personalised campervan tours to suit your special interests, your available time and time of year. We have some general itineraries to show off some of the best that our island offers you. They are well served with camping locations, LPG gas outlets, dump stations, public toilets and picnic grounds. The tours are designed by Tasmania Campervan Rentals to give you plenty of leisure time.

| Two weeks - Covering the Island |
From Hobart, overnight at Port Arthur, join the Heritage Highway through Richmond at Brighton. Overnight by the historic Ross Bridge and spend the following day touring Launceston and the Tamar Valley. On day 4, take the Bass Highway through Devonport and Burnie, perhaps over-nighting at Wynyard. Stanley, by the majestic Nut in the North West, is well worthy of a three-day stay. It is an ideal base for touring the Far North West. Travel then to Smithton and down the magnificent West Coast to Strahan for two days. Include a cruise on the Gordon River and the West Coast Wilderness Railway. On day 9, take the Lyell Highway via Queenstown and, we suggest, spend a night at Lake St Clair in the Central Highlands. Take at least another day to return to Hobart, which is well worthy of two to four days of sightseeing. An alternative is to take an overnight trip south to the Huon and Bruny Island.

Stanley, in the far North West, nestles around the Nut, a freak volcanic plug spewed from the magma millions of years ago. You can take a cable car to the top.

A highland beach at Lake St Clair, by the Lyell Highway from Hobart to the West Coast. Superb scenery and fishing.
